Manager Applications Being Accepted **********

Persons interested in managing or coaching a WSLL team for the 2010 season are encouraged to apply immediately. Also, if you know someone who is interested in coaching/managing, please forward this information to them. To ensure full consideration, please submit your application before December 15. After this date, applications will be accepted, but will only be considered if the needs of the league are not meet by those applying before by this date. We especially need volunteers at the 5T, TBall and A levels. WSLL offers various training opportunities to assist our volunteer managers and coaches in coaching Little League baseball.
Here are the steps to complete your obligations for application:

  • Applicants must first read and understand the standards for WSLL managers/coaches document (see below).
  • Applicants must complete the Little League Volunteer form. This form must be completed annually.
  • Applicants must compete the WSLL Manager/Coach Application form
  • Applicants must mail BOTH forms to the address listed below. If both forms are not submitted your application will NOT be accepted.

Because we must have original signatures on the Manager Application form and the Little League Volunteer form, electronic applications are NOT being accepted.

West Springfield Little League will continue to implement a mandate from Little Baseball, Inc. that requires all local Little Leagues to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams. All managers, coaches and volunteers must complete this form.
