Cookie Monsters Defeat Blue Brothers for Fun Tournament Championship!

In an outstanding ball game between 2 West Springfield teams, Jim McMahons Cookie Monsters defeated Howard Lichstrahls Blues Brothers 8-7. Please read the GAME SUMMARY written by Jim McMahon. His words clearly defined what this game and Little League Baseball are all about.

Closing Ceremonies Honor Teams, Volunteers

Thanks to the more than 250 who showed up for Saturday's WSLL Closing Ceremonies at Byron Avenue Park's Wrigley Field. It was a colorful event with players dressed in a variety of uniforms surrounding the infield. Trophies were presented to the tournament and regular season winners and runners up. WSLL President Steve Gillingham recognized Craig Copeland as the Volunteer of the Year. Special honors also went to outgoing Executive V.P. Keith Klindworth, Leon Debolt, George Pedersen, Greg Adams, Curt Nutbrown, David Clemson and Nancee Driscoll. See our Web site standings and tournament brakets for the winning teams. Go WSLL!

WSLL 2009 Registration Information

West Springfield Little League will hold registration for the 2009 season for players 5-12 years old.

Registrations are typically the first 3 Saturdays in January at Washington Irving School, 8100 Old Keene Mill Road. [view map]
